Taylor Swift House

Taylor Swift has been singing all her life and her motivation is her grandmother who was a professional opera singer.

She began locally performing around her town at the age of 10 and at the age of 11 she sang the national anthem before a Philphadelphia 76ers game

While performing at a showcase at Nashville's Bluebird Café, Swift caught the eye of music industry veteran Scott Borchetta. He had plans to create a new label and decided Swift was one of the first acts he wanted to sign. Still a high school student fascinated by love (which she uses as her muse), she released her debut single, "Tim McGraw," in August 2006

Did you know that Taylor Swift learned to play guitar when she was twelve from a guy named Ronnie who came over to fix her parents' computer?

For a girl who’s famous for her love of fairy tales, antiques and reading, we think Taylor Swift has found the perfect house for her many trips to Los Angeles! The 21-year-old singer reportedly purchased this lovely 1.5 acre property in Franklin Canyon Beverly Hills for approximately $3.55 million, it has four bedroom, and four bathroom.

Swift’s new digs are pretty much in line with her wholesome, down home image: no glass and metal box for her, just a beautiful East Coast traditional on 1.37 acres in the Santa Monica mountains, complete with white picket fence.

This traditional home was built in 1941 and features canyon views, access to private tennis courts, and a guest house. Maybe Taylor’s leaving Nashville to make the City of Angels her permanent home so she can pursue her burgeoning acting career, or perhaps she’ll be jetting back and forth between Tinseltown and the Music City.

Either way, the listing description makes this home seem like a pretty good place for her to hang her cowboy hat.

“This gated East Coast three-bedroom/three-and-a-half-bath Traditional home exudes warmth and charm reminiscent of the New England countryside. Pass through the gates, travel down a long pea gravel driveway and retreat from the chaos of the nearby city.

Features of this romantic and serene compound include: first-floor master bedroom (with dual baths and walk-in closets); two upstairs guest bedrooms; spacious living room with fireplace; formal dining room; and downstairs office.

French doors bathe the house in light and provide access to the grounds, the covered patio and outdoor fireplace. One-bedroom/one-bath guest house with kitchen and living room; professionally landscaped gardens, paddle tennis/sport court and rolling lawns; exceptional workmanship and materials.”
